chaos to Creativity: open studios

The Open Studios was such a fun experience! Sure, organising it was a bit of a whirlwind, but that just added to the elated feeling when we saw the finished studio. Firstly, we had the task of tackling the mess of our studio space, which, let’s be honest, looked like a creative tornado had spun through it. This involved painting walls, moving tables and art pieces, and general tidying.

The real challenge, though, was figuring out how to squeeze everyone into our cosy studio while making sure our art pieces worked together instead of competing for attention. This is where the painting on the walls came into play, a quirky touch that brought all the art pieces together and allowed the space to become more playful. We had a great time figuring out where to place our different pieces, ensuring each piece had a spot to shine.

Overall, the Open Studio was not just about showcasing our work; it was about coming together, working as a team and handling pressure well. It was great to wander around other people's studios and see their works.
